Hi all,

The weathers not looking at all good for today and tonight, so I give a status of..

NO GO

(its way to unpredictable)

Sorry, but today's forecast is similar to the last few days, and even if it looks dry we are likely to get a downpour mid skate. Hopefully calling a 'no go' now will help you find something else fun to do.

I will re-schedule the Hucknall Tram-Skate for next week.

However, the START TIME HAS CHANGE to 8pm by popular demand to help people get there on time and well fed. For the next two weeks I will be there at 7:30 to catch anyone who turns up at the original time.

Where? = Old Market Square, Nottingham

When? = Every Wednesday

What time? = Meet at 7:45 for a 8pm start

How much? = FREE!

Every Wednesday, weather permitting, meet at 7:45pm for a 8pm departure in the new Old Market Square (south side, next to the flower bed). Skate lasts around 2.5 hours and always ends at a pub. Bring Jelly Babies.

Weds 23rd April 2008 ROUTE

This was a 13.3 mile skate at a good speed with few stops. Easily the hardest skate we have done so far for the simple reason that we just kept going. This was constant skating for 2hrs followed by a well earned pint.

Weds 16th April 2008 ROUTE

Despite the forecast, and heading straight for some very intimidating clouds, luck was with us and we had a nice dry skate covering a distance of 11.36 miles to the edge of Nottingham at Bilborough. As I hoped, Wigman Rd was a good surface, but it was a very long gradual climb (1 mile), that resulted in and nice long descent. We also tried a useful new cut through over the rail track at Radford.

Weds 16th April STATUS

Hi all,

The current skate status is...

GO :)

Some rain was 'forcast' but there is no sign of it so far. The skate will be heading towards Bilborough. I recommend having shoes with you in case we have an attack of the April showers! If its a short one we will dive into the nearest pub and than practice our power slides on the way back.

ALL SKATES SO FAR in 2008

This is all of our skates so far in 2008. As you can see we tend to head south where its flatter along the valley. This week I will be heading North West towards Wollaton.

This was a nice long skate to Attenborough and back. Quite fast at times with some good (and some bad) surfaces.
