Weds 14th May STATUS

The status for tonight's skate is...

GO :)

There is no rain forecast but it looks quite a bit cooler than the last few days. BBC (at 5:20 pm) says...

So, a little windy, but I'll plan a route taking account of this. Oh, and remember, the skate now starts at 8pm.

Where? = Old Market Square, Nottingham

When? = Every Wednesday

What time? = Meet at 7:45 for a 8pm start

How much? = FREE!

Every Wednesday, weather permitting, meet at 7:45pm for a 8pm departure in the new Old Market Square (south side, next to the flower bed). Skate lasts around 2.5 hours and always ends at a pub. Bring Jelly Babies.

Weds 7th May 2008 ROUTE

Weds 7th May – Hucknall Tram-Skate - STATUS

Well, it was postponed from last week, but we now have perfect weather for the

Hucknall to Nottingham Tram assisted skate

The state status is currently ...

GO :)

This week I have something special planned for you all. For a change of scene, and to allow us to cover a larger area than we can on circular routes around Nottingham, we will be skating FROM Hucknall TO the Market Square.

We will meet as usual at the market square at 7:45pm. We will be catching the 8:04 departing Tram (arrives 8:32). ANYONE NOT AT THE SQUARE AND READY TO LEAVE BY 8pm WILL BE LEFT BEHIND. You will need to have your shoes on for the tram ride and the grand sum of £1.50 for the ticket.

This will be an 8 to 10 mile skate aiming to be back in Nottingham sometime between 10 and 10:30pm. In Hucknall there is an outdoor skate park that we will stop at for about 20 minutes (no more – this is a street skate!). Some of you may want pads / helmet for this.
